Torbjorn Hallvardson was born on the Vraalstad gaard in Telemark, Norway around 1510. In 1548 he was serving as a lagretteman (NB) for Stensland. Torbjorn married a woman named Aslaug, who bore him two girls. He died sometime before his father did in 1556.
Nota Bene: A lagretteman was something like a bailiff in England during the same period.
