Robert Louis Brown was born to Robert & Henrietta Brown on November 24th, 1903. |
His parents divorced in 1911 and his mother remarried George Wilkie. 8-year-old Robert soon went to live with his grandmother (Haberer). |

As a young man he entered the Navy Medical Corp. After his discharge, he worked painting houses with his stepfather and then as the Assistant Pro at Bellevue Country Club. |
He met Christine Burns and they were married September 20, 1924. That year they also built a home in Syracuse, NY, where they lived for the rest of their lives. Together they had four children: Dick, Ginny, Bea, and Bobbie. He worked as the plant manager for the General Baking Company. Robert died March 20, 1972 of a heart attack. |
