We did vocabulary in S.S., sharing in Science and in Gym we did the fitness test. I did 11 push-ups and 37 curl-ups, then we ran two laps. In English I wrote a song about the blister on my toe and we read a story about a mongoose. LACA, we had a listening quiz, we talked, and I got a part in a book fair comercial for the announcements. Band was fun and in Elements we had tons of homework. Mrs. Penner left early and Mrs. Connely watched us while we did our homework for 20 minutes. Volleyball was tons of fun. We played spider, scatter, and we scrimmaged. Our conditioning was pretty much all abs and I am really sore now. I finished my book report and for dinner we had pork and seaweed and seashells(spinach and shell noodles). We got a new seating chart in math. Playing test in band. I had music today. Mystery meat for lunch. Started actual social studies stuff. Watched Bill Nye in science. Revised our letters in English and learned about the voice in LACA. Afterschool there was this huge thunderstorm and it rained. It was really windy and I wrote another song. I danced in the rain and then worked more on homework. My book reports almsot done and all I have to do is print my letter. I played on Facebook and now it's time for bed. We stayed up kinda late. I finished my letter to Mr. Gottberg and Mom worked on Zara's bee costume. At 7:30 pm Mom, Dad and I went to a German tweet up. It was fun but not very Germanish. It was at Old Chicago and I got a calzone. The Dejabets were there, Axel was there, and Elsa and Lisa were there. I decided what color and how I'm going to dye my hair. I'm going to get leaf green highlights and be a dryad for a few months. I also got 2,740 grains of rice on Free Rice. I woke up this morning with Maxwell and Zara in my bed. They had come up during the night to snuggle. I cleaned the floor in the kitchen and then worked on my homework. Lillian come over and we're having a sleepover. We wrote some songs and played DDR. We're jumping on the trampoline alot and Geri and Richard came over and we're having dinner soon. Dinner is pork with bacon and corn and something else. This weekend I'm either going to get my hair done or buy a guitar. Today was fun but I don't know what color to do my hair. I would love to get lime green and be snot girl, but I would also love to get dark green highlights and be a forest fairy. I don't know which to choose. It was halarious watching everbody stare at me. I listened to music with Nick before school and during lunch he tricked me. It was really funny but then it was time to leave. During LACA we did a really fun acting game. Lunch was mystery meat and mystery meat with cheese. Elements was fun because we didn't get to much homework, but chores is a different story. We got home and Dad asked me to mow and I flipped out because Brittan hadn't mowed before we switched months, so then he made me clean all the spiderwebs and dirt off of the porch. That took two hours, then dinner, homework and now bed. Dad convinced me to blog again. Between the last entry and this one alot has happened, but I'm just going to skim over the summer stuff and skip to school time. Over the summer Brittan and I went detasseling and met new friends; Micah, Eric, Micheal (I have no idea how to spell it) and Jenny. First day of 7th grade was fun, but now everyone's back in the school routine and we are getting to work. I have Mrs. Penner for math and Diff classes for everything else. Brittan, Isa, Jada, Lillian, and me are all still on the same team but my crush is on the other team and I only get to see him in the moring and for 10 minutes of lunch. We had volleyball practice this afternoon and it was much easier than the past few practices, especially conditioning. We had tons of homework in Elements and Dad granted me permission to play his guitar as long as I'm careful with it. Songwriting here I come. Nothing much else worth mentioning but sillybands. Sillybands are the new trend I have like 25 I think. They're just little shaped rubber bands but somebody is making alot of money off of them. I'd say a majority of the school has at least on sillyband. I got up early and went to camp at 8:00 for extra practice. Our group choreographed most of our song and got the lyrics mostly down. After that reagular camp started and we did fun warm ups. After warmups we practiced our songs and then went to the auditorium to do choreography for Mambo. We got through all of Mambo and then had a break. During our break one of the helpers, Sam, did "The Evolution of Dance" dance and claimed he had never seen the video. After break we got into our groups. We choreogrpahed and practiced almost all of our song. After groups we practiced in the big group with Mambo and some if the other songs, then it was time to go. Dad picked us up and at home we got a package from Grandma (I need to call her, don't let me forget!!). All of the kids got presents. Maxwell and Zara got movies so while Dad was at the doctor's for a X-ray because his hand was hurting, we watched Veggie Tales. When Dad got home I went to the store with him and we got picinic food. Mom's lab took a really long time and we didn't leave for the lake until 6:10ish. When we got to the lake Mom and Dad had some trouble lighting the fire but dinner was good. After dinner we went fishing. Maxwell fished for an hour with no sucess, but when he handed me the pole because he was bored I almost immeadiatly felt a tug. I caught a fish! It was a small sunfish, and we realeased it, but I caught the only fish of the day.<img="photo.jpg"></img> After fishing Brittan, Dad and I went swimming for a while but we had to go home. While we were swimming I found a frisbee and on the way home we took a "long cut" driving around in almost random directions while still heading home. While we drove we sang songs and we were really silly. I woke up in the night alot because Zinny slept with me and kept pushing me off the bed. I was really tired when I got up a 7:30. At Music camp we practiced our song and added more choreography to Mambo. At 11:00 we got into our groups and learned what musicals we got. My group got Hairspray. I've never even seen it. We're singing part of "Don't Stop the Beat." After camp I went home with Jessica to help her practice. First we went to Hill Crest to pick up her brother. We had lunch there. I had a triple decker club sandwich. It was really yummy and tasted like a beefed up BLT. After lunch we went home but some other lady picked up her brother. Jessica's house is huge and she has a pool with a slide and diving board. She gave me a mini tour and then we swam for an hour or so. We played games and had popsicles. Towards the end we went upstairs and practiced our camp songs, but we only got through two before Dad came. At home I practiced some more, but then I wentoutside to play. Maxwell had Quinn over and Dad was filleting fish that they had caught. Maxwell caught three fish and I was almost sad that I wasn't home when the invited Maxwell. Brittan was invited to but she stayed home. Mom cooked up the fish and it was really yummy. For real dinner I made Italian food: chicken with basil, Italian green beans, and spaghetti with olive oil. It was really yummy and everybody liked it. I'm kinda tired now and I should be getting in bed because I have to get up early but I don't want to. Guess what, I sing alto, so I had to sit all the way across the room from them. Jessica Petty got their soon though and she sings alto. She sat next to me and I helped her with the words and things. First Mr. Robb talked about the music camp and then we listened to recordings of the songs. After the recording of a song the group would sightread a page or so and then move onto the next song. Our songs are: The Silence and the Song, Mambo Italiano, Cantate Hoodie, And then everyone gets a small group musical song. At 11:30 we went home and watched a movie. Dinner was burgers and then softball practice. Today hasn't been any different from the last few days. Wake up, eat, play LEGO Star Wars, eat, play some more. Yesterday was very diferent though, when I woke up I made breakfast while reading my book. After breakfast I was going to read all day, but Daddy took all us kids to the lake because Mommy was studing. So I put on my swimsuit and grabbed my glove and ball and Britt's glove, just in case, and got in the car. Everybody else was ready but they weren;t in the car because the were across the street looking at Deanna's new puppy. The drive to the lake was about an hour so we got there around 11:30 a.m. I immeaditly went swimming and just hung out in the shade or on the playground when I became bored with the water. I was moaing about being bored because I forgot my book when Maxwell and Zara came running up the beach screaming, "A crab, a crab, come look." Of course it wasn't actually a crab it was a crawfish. It was in the shallow water by the shore and I picked it up and chased Brittan with it. Daddy came out and played in the water with me and Brittan. We swam out to the bouys where even Dad couldn't touch. Shortly afterward we left and drove home. At home Mom got really mad a Dad because he forgot sunblock. Zara, Brittan, Maxwell, and Dad were all badly burned. Me? My shade time payed off and I'm not burned at all. At five all of us except for Brittan and Zinny went to Holmes Lake for WaterFest. We got free hotdogs, tons of free stuff, and after we visited ten booths we got prizes. I got a rain gauge. I had lunch with Mommy and I was the first one up this morning. Yesterday was fun but we went to bed real late and I didn't have time to write so here it goes.<br>Yesterday, we had a warm front coming through and at 10 o'clock a.m. it was kinda dark out side. It rained at like eleven so we still had our softball game, and we won. It was awesome. After dinner we had way to to to much icecream with M&Ms and Reese's pieces. When we got back I took a shower and convinced Maxwell and Zara to come with Brittan and I down to the library at Randolph. We went down to the library because there is a summer reading program there and you can visit on Wednesdays to do crafts and check out books. I made a bookmark and lots of balloons, those long ones that clowns use. After we got back we played with Johnathon whom our family was babysitting. He got tired after awhile and he fell asleep on my lap down stairs on the couch watching a movie. He was so cute! After that I played on the computer until dinner looking at the posts on <font color="yellow"><a href="http://www.givesmehope.com">Gives Me Hope</a></font>. It's a really cool site. For dinner I had, leftover from yesterday, chicken fingers and ketchup. After dinner I jumped on the trampoline and watched a movie, The Dark Knight. No cavities which is good and I got a goodie bag with some gum. :) We had a late dinner because at 6 we started watching Enterprise and watched all four episodes. After dinner I went downstairs and played LEGO Star Wars until now, midnight, I wouldn't have even noticed the time if Mom hadn't come downstairs ordering bedtime. Camping was so much fun, I went swimming all the time, but I got really sunburned which sucks. I had tons of smores too. We packed up camp today and then drove home. After we got home we organized the camping boxes. We were going to watch a movie but somebody knocked a piece of clean clothes on the floor and Dad got really mad. All of the kids had to go to bed, but Brittan and I didn't go to sleep. I was really mad and confused. While opening one of my windows I hit my head on the frame and started crying, it didn't hurt that much, but it opened the flood gates and I couldn't stop crying. Eventually, I went to go see Mom and she told me to take a shower. After my shower I felt much better. Brittan went outside to see Dad's paintings and he said we could come paint too. Right now it's nine o'clock and we aren't leaving yet. We aren't leaving to go camping til ten! That's how close our campsite is, just a little over an hour. We're going camping in Fremont, NE until Monday, so I won't be able to blog. I am taking my journal though so I will give you guys a detailed report. I'm free and so is all of LPS. Today at school we didn't have to bring our backpacks. I brought my yearbook and my lunch, that's it. First period I had FCS and we made chocolate chip cookies. Our's were the best. Third period through lunch we had a talent show. It was really cool, all the talents people had. After lunch we watched movies and played games. I watched "The Sandlot." We also had popsicles. I gotta go help Dad pack the car now because we are going camping this time. I did NOT want to go to school today but, we got our yearbooks today and I had no homework. The yearbooks are awesome! The theme is "color outside the lines." It's REALLY cool looking. I already had a few people sign my yearbook and tomorrow I'm going to town with the autographs. After school I played LEGO Star Wars with Brittan for a little while but I had to do my chores. Dishes. I also had to make dinner. The dinner menu was really lame. We had pizza, green beans and garlic bread. After dinner Mom and us kids walked to Neighbors Park, the new neighborhood park at 30th and D. We got there at like 6:30 and it was almost dark. Do I even need to tell you that we walked home in the rain? We were at the park for a few minutes and then the clouds turned green and we started home just before it started poring. Brittan and I had bikes so we beat the others home but we ALL got soaked. Also it started hailing. To bad there was no tornado. Because I was too lazy to use the sewing machine, I hand sewed both of them. I also went down to woods park with Mom, Dad, and Maxwell. On the playground I played "ship" with Maxwell. After that I played catch with Mom practicing for softball. Right before we left I learned how to climb a tree Jackie Chan style and climbed this really tall pine tree. video coming soon After we came back from the park Brittan, Dad and I went to the Old Chigaco and read our books. I finished mine and played on Dad's iPhone. We ordered dinner at 5:30 and had meat pizza. After dinner we went to the movie theater and watched the new Robin Hood movie. It was awesome. I fell asleep on the couch last night and had a really weird dream where people could turn into andy animal at will. I tried to turn into an eagle but it didn't work and I was really sad. Brittan was watching me and trying to guess what I was going to turn into. It was quite an odd dream. When I woke up Brittan was on the front porch with a baby bluejay that Zinny had tried to eat. Eventually the bird died but later another baby bluejay was almost caught by Zinny. It didn't die this time and I put it over the fence into our nieghbor's yard. Before that though I had to take out ALL the trashes and mow the yard. For second breakfast right before I mowed I had a homemade meatball sub that was heavenly. After I mowed I painted my toenails in a really cool design with a red background. On top of the red was a pink "V" with a line through the middle and a gem flower. I also picked up my room a little bit. Did you know that mice can jump almost a foot? I didn't, but yesterday (I forgot to tell you yesterday) Rachel, one of my mice jumped down from the top of the flower pot I was holding them in while I cleaned their cage. Once on the ground she walked around suprised that she'd made it. It was really funny and she kept doing it. While Rachel jumped Ali, my albino mouse, was busy digging a hole in the dirt to hide in. They were both really cute. All day I played on my computer except for after lunch when I read "Through the Looking Glass" for a while. After that back to the computer, but at 4:30 Dad and Brittan and I went to Barnes&Noble where I got "The Theory of Everything" by: Stephen W. Hawking. Brittan got an worold encyclopedia of arceologoy sites. I was trying to upload my revised wish list and it wouldn't work. Just got back from visiting Ian, Maxwell's friend. During second period I had music and we had a talent show. In the show I sang a song that I wrote that I might name "Draw Your Face". On my <a href="http://www.wogsland.org/alora">homepage</a> there is a new song section where you can look at all of my songs. For lunch I went to the Parthenon and had a Gyro. It was really good. Yes, I did have school today, but during Language Arts we had a book giving ceremony. Where the students gave their relatives a biography about them written by that student. I wrote mine about Daddy. This weekend we are going camping, all six of us and Zinny. We are going to the Niobrara River for the weekend. We're leaving tomorrow so I won't be able to blog until Monday when we come back. Today, (because it's Thursday) I had band lessons. We had playing tests and I got a 94% on my scales and an 88% on my chromatic scale. I play the alto saxophone by the way. During gym we played softball and my team won by one point at the last batter. I'm also on an extracurricular softball team called the Stars. After school Dad, Brittan and I went down to Woods Park and practiced batting and catching. Brittan is not on my team even though she's my twin sister, she's not even playing. Just before we started Bobbi, who is on my team, showed up and we played homerun derby until 5:30; when we all went home and had dinner. After that Dad, Brittan and I walked down to The Cup at 25th and Randolph. I had and iced tea and a cupcake. We met Angela one of Mom and Dad's twitter friends there and we all tried to play the piano until they came out and stopped us. Then Brittan, Dad and I left and walked home.
